I first discovered the benefits of massage therapy in the early 2000s while working in education: finding it a wonderful way to not only relax and relieve pain, but also as a way of learning to identify more positively with my body; a means of examining posture and movement which I have carried through into daily life. Since leaving teaching I have worked in the field of adult mental health and am fascinated in the relationship between the physical and mental aspects of our being; and how these can be unified for a more holistic approach to our self-care, identity and how we move through the world.

I have a near lifelong interest in movement-based activities - primarily skateboarding, swimming and dance, although I have in the past been engaged in martial arts and rock climbing. While these provide an opportunity for exercise and self-expression, they're not without their impact - upon both one's body and one's mood! My experience of massage not only offers relief from injury but also a fresh perspective on flexibility & posture which feeds back into my activities.

Every massage I provide presents an opportunity for me to help you relax and reconnect with your being.
